I was going through old material <webcast with Chevy> and re-read this quote which I have found to be particularily striking....
"Al Oppenheiser: I fully expect the competition to be in our Rear view mirror! I feel that to push the Camaro performance and technology to the limits is right and necessary, because at GM we don't just want to compete, we want to Win! Wednesday February 9, 2011 3:09 Al Oppenheiser 3:09" ....you are awesome Al!

Beautiful!. I really like your color choices I think many prospective ZL1 buyers may lean this way in the end due to GM wasting our time dragging their heels on price, allocations and communications (or lack thereof). Also, the weight of the ZL1 may prove a bigger problem than most anticipate when Shelby ups the HP dept. Cool car and congratulations! |

It's funny, I love my new car, don't get me wrong it is a truly kick-ass car and to steal Scott's term, I now understand perma-grin!; but I still have a slight sense of disappointment that the Camaro was not what I wanted in the end. That being said, I intend to stick around and enjoy your Camaro's vicariously. Safe driving and happy tire smoke! And thanks for the thumbs up, this is truly one of the best boards around.

A6 Sunroof ZL1 Appearance package Black 10 spoke rims Suede trim package (think I'm dropping this due to cleaning issues, but will be price dependent) Does anyone know if the 5 spoke rims are coming in Black? Maybe Black with brushed accents? This is the only other possible change that I will be making. Wifey dropped the "lets order the ZL1 instead of dropping $10k on upgrades for your SS that is out of warranty. I don't want to see you blow the motor up" today. So I went from not paying a lot of attention to needing a crash course in ZL1.

I saw the pics of the black 5 spokes on one of the ZL1 Mules and got kind of excited. No biggie, I'll be thrilled with the 10 spoke rims.
