I am sure it did, why do all these stupid mustang guys come on GM sites posting this crap
I here this crap all the time from a handfull of mustang nut swingers! This guy ran 11.80s with just a tune and intake, like anyone believes that... but he forgot to mention the race stars wheels, wight reduction and tires I find it funny that everytime I have been to the track and seen these 5.0s run there not ANY faster then the 5th gens! I still have yet to even see one break into the 11s with bolt-ons and tires So were are they all at... I only see them on the internet Last time I was out there was a 5.0 with a tune, full exhaust, intake, ported TB and mickys on back... He said his best time before the tires was 12.80! He was running 12.30s, but I guess hes just that much slower everyone else

No doubt the 5.0 is a great car, I almost bought one but far to many owners have this chip on their shoulder about it and it rubs me the wrong way. Snob comes to mind.

idk the exhaust on that mustang does look aftermarket. At least from that angle it looks bigger on the tips than normal

I drove the GT and BOSS 302. I agree with the OP. I don't understand his judge of top end, but the Camaro is definitely longer geared, requiring less shifts, despite the lower redline. I also checked out a GT-500 and must say it was night and day vs the GT. I think the 6.2L LS3 has a lot more potential than anything Ford's working with however.
Also, the issues with the camaro suspension can be straightened out with and easy to install, relatively inexpensive set of stabilizer bars. Also, the camaro weighs more than the stang, but is more comfortable and is a more enjoyable ride. I also hole-heartedly agree that the SS has a better muscle car feel / vibe to it. Quote:

Now now you do not think any of these high profile mustang tuning shops would ever deceive the public to gain more attention to their shop? All the above are great examples of ways to trick the public, another is the special race fuel tunes.

If I were buying a race car, I'd agree with you. This is my DD.

I just did an x-pipe on my 2012 about 30 minutes ago. At first I didn't have the clamps on right and it made the mufflers stick out just like that with the stock mufflers. So I can believe it is stock because it is easy for the mufflers to slide back like that if the clamps aren't tight enough. I had to loosen them up and kick the mufflers in until the bottomed out and then get them really tight.

i still dont believe that look how big those exhaust tips are on that mustang those cannot be stock. they are way bigger in that mustang pic than of the stock one and you also would see the mufflers sticking out barely on the stang, but you dont in the one with DR. It has to at least be a axle back exhaust
