there's more L99s out there then there are LS3s, yet on the "official fast list" for stock cars, the top 9 are LS3. 21 of the top 25 are LS3. that should answer any question of which is faster.

^ Well there is somthing to be said about that. Most of those people on the fast list have years of driving exp. For the average joe the auto may be faster for them.
just saying I agree with you though. it comes down to the driver however. |

I guess the answer is LS3 with an astrisk. Every post about which is faster, is always "LS3 if you know how to shift or don't miss a gear or blah blah blah".
Let's ask it this way, which is slower LS3 or L99. Same answer, the LS3 is you don't shift right. I'm sticking with the L99, cause while they are working to not miss a shift as they will, I'm changing radio stations, adjusting the air, moving my seat around as I drive by them. All I have to concentrate on is my foot hitting the floor with the gas pedal. |

Bro every LS3 camaro I raced and base model Vettes I kill them...So whther they can launch good or not they go down and see my tail lights...Tap shift shifts faster than a human despite its rated 26 more HP at the crank...
I need to get that GOPRO so i can show you guys...SMH
