I sorta swing both ways between NSX and LSx (GTO). Love them both. Well both have blowers. So there's really nothing to not like.....

Let me know if you ever make it out to the panhandle area. Would love to see that NSX in action...especially if it were lined up against a certain TT NSX from Atlanta

Hmmmm, B-man, I must be getting old: I'm thinking I like your NSX better than the redhead!

Btw, I didn't turn on the nitrous and ended up taking 1st in normally aspirated class at the 1/2-mile. Seems most cars these days are showing up with a supercharger or turbo(s).

Thickest, forged pistons you can get, Total Seal rings (steel top, napier 2nd), and pretty much any aftermarket forged rod ...check out LS1Tech for other opinions.

My mate has a cammed LS3 and installed a nitrous kit 150hp and he wants to double that but worried that his stock pistons and connecting rod will not handle it.

pretty much what he said, Cybergray. Tuning is very important. For example, fuel supply seems to be my issue at the moment. I've rotated the rail, installed a shorter fuel crossover line, Racetronix hotwire, a BAP, and still my fuel pressure will drop to 50'ish psi at WOT.

...and you figure this all out by using HP Tuners or EFI Live to datalog. Moral of the story is as Mike said above, tuning is very important. While you friend could probably do rod bolts and a standalone fuel system as an interim. If he wants to spray more power than described above to the wheels then he should probably be talking to Texas Speed, HKE, Vengeance, Lingenfelter, ERL, Livernois, etc, etc, about a new short block or at least installing a new rotating assembly.

Here's a pic of my system currently:

I saw that on Facebook. Might be the first time I buy a "Honda"-related magazine.
