Can't believe it's only hump day.... This week is dragging along. I'm being investigated by the Board of Pharmacy (it's a stupid thing, so I'm not worried, but finding time to write a statement and get it reviewed by our company lawyers is a challenge), work is super busy, and I think I'm starting to get sick - got the sniffles and am really tired... Glad I've got a 3 day weekend coming up! Especially since the weatherman is calling for snow Sunday and Monday!

It's "The Art of Racing In The Rain" by Garth Stein. It's a story about a man who wants to be a professional race driver as told by his dog. It will have you laughing your head off and then crying your eyes out.

I'll take a shot; it'a a "ZETA". At least that's my best guess. My wife got me the book Camaro- A Legend Reborn for Christmas. The pic you posted is on pg.21 with the caption "Photographed in October 2004, this is the original scale model for a possible Camaro revival created in secret within General Motors advanced design studio in Warren, MI. -GM" It reappears a couple pages later on pg.24 in a designer concept storyboard. The header on the panel says "competitors". There are photos of three cars across the top: Mustang, Infiniti G35 coupe, and a BMW 330 coupe, along with their measurements.
Below that is a profile rendering of the very same car as the model in the other picture. Complete with the gills on the front fender. The car is labeled "ZETA" and its measurements are represented.
Unfortunately,I don't have a scanner, so I can't post it. All I know is that it was the GM Zeta platform that got shelved, and then resurrected to form the basis for the 5th Gen project. If you look close at the model, you can see that it is only one half stuck to a mirror to make it look like a whole model!
