for those who have done this how are u guys wiring yours up and turning them on , wished there was a hood light somewhere to tap into

there is a button somewhere to tell the computer if the hood is latched, if you are good you probably tap off that. but i have seen people wire them to switches inside or a button switch the hood depresses

A lot of times, I put them on the switch that we include with our footwell kits. Easy, and accessable even with the key removed. So you can rock them at night without having to risk leaving your keys in the car.

I like the idea of tapping into the hood open signal as well. That might be something that I do on my next install....
