Newly painted calipers
I had my wheels off this weekend so I went ahead and painted my calipers red-orange. Color seemed to match pretty well. I wasn’t sure at 1st if I liked it when the wheels were off. But now that they are on it really seems to pop, and I like it.
Now I just need to add the “Brembo” back on. For those of you who painted your calipers, did you shoot some kind of high temp clear over the “Brembo” sticker? How did/ does that hold up so far? Or did you paint on the “Brembo”? |

Did you pull the calipers off to paint them or just tape around them?

Do you need a specific type of paint for doing this? I actually plan on going to my shop to see how much they will charge for powder coating, maybe ill see if they can do my calipers IOM also
![]() I love it, looking at your car is like my car in a couple days (hopefully) Also have Spears and Vent Decals coming in soon!

There is caliper paint you can get http://www.duplicolor.com/products/caliperPaint/. Or what I used http://www.duplicolor.com/products/enginePaint/ Dupli-Color
DE1607 - Chevrolet Orange-Red . Its the same, it just had the Red-Orange I as looking for instead of just the red. From searching around, once I get the "Brembo" stickers there is a high temp clear you can use to help with the sticker too. I just need to do some more research on it. |
