If you haven't been out and about in Indy, they have a "scene" that is second to none. I'll be back there again for the shootout again this year, definitely plan on more burgers and fries from Suds and the spontaneous parking lot car shows that seem to happen everywhere.

Sounds like a fun time, but I think this is one show that I won't make it to with the rest of you guys. Take lots of pics.

I will be leaving Thursday IF work allows. Yes, I booked a room, but if it is nutty here I will let it go and miss the fun. Gotta make the money to pay for the toys.

I would like to go, but I am going to be spending quite a bit of money this year and burning up my vacation on other things.

Is there a registration for C5Fest3 and what does it cost?

Thanks Tim. I knew you would be the one to reply with the info. Always up to date. I'm on the thread and should be added to the list soon.

We do need to coordinate when we're all going to leave for Camaro Fest.
It would be great of we could all drive together in one big "crazy train" headed to Indianapolis. Tim, DO NOT trailer that car to Camaro fest either. If you do, I'll slug you with so many lefts you'll be begging for a right. While it would be nice to stay with everyone at the host hotel, I can not see spending $90/night when I can spend half that in Columbus and get to see my daughter and grandson. I hope to drag them along to Camaro Fest in Indy so everyone can meet them. Still waiting on my Afterburners. I ordered them 3 weeks ago. That's the bad thing about ordering from Rick's Camaros. You may get 15%+ discount codes in your email, but it seems to take FOREVER to get your stuff when your item gets shipped directly from the manufacturer. I saved $40 so I can wait. I waited 3 months last year for my Afterburners, but they were worth it. The Afterburners from Technostalgia are really life savers and great safety devices. Think about, how many times have you been behind someone who just slows down to turn and doesn't use their signal? I'm guilty of it on occasion, but since getting my Afterburners I use my turn signal every time cuz I love showing them off. |

I get a WARNING for posting my experience with Afterburner Tail Lights in the General Forum. General Forum means just that, any topic in general. Again, What the ****??? Does this really constitute the need for a WARNING??? |

I installed the 4 gauge pack from GMPARTSHOUSE and the Afterburners from ORACLE this week. I still have the footwell lighting to do and I hope the Roto-Fab CAI shows up this coming week. Anyway, Ya'all know what the gauges look like but here's a picture of the afterburners. I love the look at night.

Ok I cant commit as of yet but if I do go I would leave on Thursday and drive out BenningJ I might be willing to share that room if the offer is still open. I would stay through the weekend but can only really give up 1 day of work. Unfortunately when I am gone no one else to do the work. Camaros and Vettes What time of day do you think you would leave I would be willing to drive over with you if I can get the details worked out to make it happen. |

Quackersacker, BenningJ and I booked the last room at the Wyndam. Seems as though we need to use a few common landmarks along I-80 to have groups meet up with other groups. I would be willing to meet others at Newton at the race track exit. I think this would be a good place to have all from Des Moines meet as it would get very confusing picking up people as your going through Des Moines. Just putting this out there because it was a PITA last year at Cruise to the Woods when going through Altoona-Ankeny pickup points. From ther we can meet up with the Waterloo-Cedar Falls, Cedar Rapids and Iowa City clans east if Iowa City. Traveling in a group would be awesome and easy with a little planning.
