probably just a rumor. the probe was actually supposed to be the replacement for the mustang. luckily for ford, somebody came to their senses and decided not to kill it like they did the Taurus and escort.

Seeing as how the camaro is direct competition for the mustang and has been since 1967, these cars are actually very, very similar. Look at the older ones from a distance. They are eerily similar. And despite the squared design of the camaro and the somewhat goofy looks of the mustang, they still look very similar. Not sure why you guys can't see this as well...

I agree. Im a rare breed. Not only do I know cars, I can tell you just about any make & model of cars from the 50's up. It helps my dad is a street rodder, lol! But it goes back to if you dont know, ask. You look worse making the wrong guess then asking. Its like asking a fat chick when her baby's due, lol
