Race by the *&^%$# people's houses that complained about the noise,
throwing flyers out the window telling them that you have to race on the street now... and you choose their neighborhood as the location. LOL

You need to give a call to Bruton Smith, he can get your track back or build a better one... check this out:

He wanted to build the Best Drag Strip in the world on some land he owned which backed right up to a neighborhood that's been around a fair amount time.

Homeowner's complained and the City of Concord stepped in and told Bruton he can't build a drag strip there.

So what does he do? He threatens to basically tear down Lowes Motor Speedway and build a new NASCAR track elsewhere, taking $$$ away from Concord.

The city then not only lets him build the strip, but promises him more money for road improvements and such around the strip and LMS.

This is how Z-max was born, and the homes behind it are now worthless. Now, since I live in Concord, my home's tax value (away from the track) was "reassessed" that year and jumped 60k in value so the city could collect more revenue to pay Bruton to stay.
