I was looking for a "throw back" shifter look and feel. That's what I got! There's a little vibration, it's notchy, looks old school.......just what I wanted for my car........It's not smooth or soft..........

What do you think LocTite was invented for ? No wobbles here.

It depends on whether it's an OEM Hurst shifter or a Hurst billet plus non OEM shifter. I've driven both. Don't think anything is wrong with the billet plus shifter, it's got tight linkage.

I'm alittle late, but I love the fit and feel. My only complaint is the look. I'm putting the oem shift rod and ball back on.

If you don't put it together (install) it correctly, then it won't work correctly. Please follow the instructions.

I love mine.. I actually was getting frustrated with it being so notchy but I put the other shaft and the weighted factory knob and I like it 100% better. However that pretty polished stick and the classic white knob are quite a beaut.
