Yeah, you should definitely gt some hub centric rings. Looks like the 24" they used was for the truck center bore. Its still weird that its hitting your strut plate though. My 24's fit perfect with a 255/30/24 on the front and I think my offset is a few more mm's + than yours. Tires do expand width wise when on the ground to, so try bolting on the wheel with no spacer, even if it makes slight contact with the strut, then sit the car on the ground and see if it will roll. it might not make contact with the stru once its down on the ground.

You NEED hub centric rings. You could start breaking the studs running without them. Most new cars have the wheel riding on the hub which centers the wheel and carries the weight of the car. The lugs only keep the wheel from getting away from the hub.
FWIW: I was a passenger in my friend's '99 Firebird Formula heading from Houston to the strip in Sealy. He had mounted his Weld drag wheel/tire setup (DOT legal but just barely). A few miles from the track on I-10 we started hearing loud bang sounds like rocks in the fender wells. It was the studs and nuts flying off. We pulled into the track with two studs left on each wheel.

Yup.. Stunds arnt hardened and arnt designed to take the weight and the force of the wheel being spun.. Seen lots of people snapping studs just by over tightening them |

I ran 24" Irocs 255/30/24 and they rubbed... Had to use a spacer and it made the steering wheel shimmy at 45mph... but stopped at 50mph... The tire rubbed the plastic black part in the wheel well when making most left turns and some right turns. I hated that... Anyone running 255/30/24 and are not rubbing or bottoming the back out on some bumps either have an amazing fitment or great luck... Becuase it did not work in my favor... I ended up selling the 24's going to 22" and my car started to fly again.

I dont rub with my 255/30/24 on my asantis but they are the perfect fit. The irocs arent the right offsets, thats where you had the issue. Since I put my stereo in a couple weeks ago, my 275/30/24 rears made a rub sound twice on a a small plastic corner on the inside of the rear bumper, but 3 mins with the dremel took care of that. it didnt rub at all before I put the 400 punds of equipment back there.
