Yep. MT should have tested the ZL1 against a 2012 GT 500 instead of a Boss 302. THAT would have been apples to apples - but Chevy wouldn't let them. Why? I'm betting the 2012 GT 500 would have taken the ZL1 through the quarter.

Top of the line VS top of the line IS fair. The Bow Tie Boys have had YEARS to catch up. Time to see where they stand. Competition only makes BOTH better!

The reasons why have been covered ad nauseum since the article's release...that wasn't one of them...

Hurst short throw shifter, DSS- level 4 axles, DSS- aluminum driveshaft, Pfadt- sport 1.5" rear sway-bar. SPOHN 1.25" front sway-bar. Monster LT1-S twin clutch. Prothane motor mounts. Best 1/4 mile so far- 12:70ET @ 112.24 MPH w/ 2.06 60', 2010.
