Post Brake Pad recommendation (V6, yes read posts)

I see the posts re: squealing, I've experienced this to some degree, I'm at 41k and now I'm getting some more regualr noises like the pads are due for a changing so I might swap them out when I take it in next week for some other stuff.

I have a V6, PFADT lowering kit; I dont go to the track. The "squeeling" I haven't noticed other than when the car is cold and more recently. I've read that "cermaic" is what I need for low noise.

I see in some threads people commenting about the hawk making noise and some people mentioning that they probably didn't get the cermaic ones, would these work?

I also have no point of reference for "hawk" for manufacture and I think looking on Jegs might be overkill. What I would like to know is what would be the best choice. My perception would be that the GM brakes are probably over priced as most OEM parts seem to be compared to the aftermarket parts and I could get something a little better in the process.

Would the hawk's do?
