Thread size for shifter knob
I have a Hurst short-throw shifter and want to swap out my stock knob for a Hurst T handle. Does anyone know the thread size or how I would determine? They make adapter kits, but if i can get the exact fit, i'd prefer to do that.

do you have the OEM Hurst shifter? If you have the OEM Hurst you can't switch the knob. As it isn't threaded. The stock shifter is just pushed on.

Do you have to buy an adapter kit? No. This threads is a DIY on adding threads to your stock shifter. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=154016 |
