I look at this the same way the now existing ZL1 was rumored to be the Z28.
Also, I keep reading there working on an all new car that's not derivative of any other existing car, but every time the Commodore and G8 get mentioned as being that new car or based on. How is that all new and not derivative? I would love to see something from Chevy that is all new, and not based on any existing or past name plate or designs. When was the last time that actually happened? And what car was it?

You may want to look into the equinox and traverse a tad more. Equinox chassis was a saturn vue. Traverse has a unique body with same lambda chassis as acadia, enclave and the outlook .

I would think they are just talking about the standard camaro V-6 and then the Super Sport performance is referring to the SS V-8 model. I think they are reading to much into this personally.......

You guys might think its dumb, but I think it would be cool to see a new roadster like the Sky or Solstice. Currently GM is missing out on that market and Mazda doesn't seem to be having trouble selling Maita's (MX-5).

Although it does have a sweet engine w/ or w/o the super charger, from that picture posted above, I do not thing that car is "Chevelle" worthy personally. It would just be another flop like the 04-06 GTO was, and take the Chevelle name down with it.
