Re-adhereing Rear Bowtie

I'm going to take my bowtie off to paint it (I am not comfortable with just masking and painting while it is on the car). I know the method to remove the bowtie...but how do I reapply it? Is there a sticker or some sort of paste adhesive I need to buy?

Thanks in advance.

3M automotive tape. They sell it at Auto Zone and whatnot. It's got a red back to it.
