Camaro vs. Fisker

Saw a Fisker Karma at the local grocery store today. 1. It costs 100 grand plus. 2. It is butt ugly. That said, how would they do in a 1/4 against a stock SS? Top speed?
I know it may be a dumb question but thought I'd expose my ignorance anyway

Isn't the Fisker Karma the car Consumer Reports couldn't rate because theirs wouldn't run long enough to give it a proper test drive?

Seems like these cars are all about being eco friendly. Check out the torque numbers.

As I understand it, top speed is 125mph. They are Eco Grand Tourers. They aren't a performance car per se.

However they do have a smidge over 1000 ft/lb torque!

A V6 wouldn't have any trouble with one, let alone an SS

Its a big car, with a gigantic (that is to say, heavy) battery. Total weight is well over 5000 lbs. Since its electrically driven, its strength is low end power. However, that also means it has limited top end power. And it also has only a single gear further hampering its acceleration.

I think it looks sick. I have no problem with JB. It's funny to me how many jealous people like to hate on him for no reason.

I'm pretty sure that it is a GT. Similar to the Lotus/Tesla electric car. I've seen a few Fiskers here in Houston and I think there a sweet ride compared to a Leaf!

It was designed/manufactured by Henrik Fisker right here in So Cal (Designer of the Aston Martin DB9 and V8 Vantage, Artega GT and BMW Z8.) The car looks nice, but it is by no means a drag strip car. It is a GT car built for long trips. 100 mile range on battery, and a 2 litre gasoline engine to charge up the batteries after the 100 mile range. Plus solar panels, recycled EVERYTHING (including the windshield/all glass) Fossilized interior accents (Yes fossils) No dead animal skin/ animal products, Solor powered AC/computers, and 1000ft pounds of torque (it is an electric after all.) Its an amazing car. But its a little too much on the Eco side for me.

I think it's amazing car, although not built for performance. The looks and aero of the car are awesome. Plus the roof is a solar panel (neat idea i think). They are extremely luxurious inside did I mention the body lines......damn....one sexy car!
