Shes had two 5 series as well. Her cars have STAYED at the dealer (which is over 100 miles away in Jacksonville FL)

She has her 7 series priced 6k under blue book if anyone is interested

She just went and bought a VW bug and couldnt be happier.

LOL...that picture is AWESOME

And I would gladly buy a Camaro or Vette before I bought a Challenger. Everything about Dodge/Chrysler speaks issues. My mom made a mistake of buying a Chrysler van and trans was replaced at 6000 miles, and has had nothing but problems

the 392 is nice and its very fast but it can't be tuned yet. They have made some headway on the tune but its still a ways off.

I'm in the vast minority here. I can not stand to look at the Challenger or Charger. But I'm not a fan of the original either. Just look like boats to me.

But the Richard Petty one from the TV commercial is pretty sweet

I can't wait to see what the tuned cars will run as the automatics have already run into the 12:20s stock, tune and tires 11s?

Hello all, first post over here. Currently own a 2011 Challenger M6 392. I had originally lurked over here when I was trying to decide whether to by a Camaro SS or the 392. I love the way the Camaro looks, but I fit better in the Challenger.

I popped back over to see if anyone here was talking about the 6.2 supercharged engine that is now confirmed for special edition 2013 Challengers, and saw a few posts about tuning possibilities for the Challenger. There is no handheld tuner available for the Challenger yet. You can send your ECU for a custom tune. If you mod something else, you have to send it in again. I'm guessing you pay again as well. This has only been available for about three months so only a couple handfuls of people have had it done. I don't know of dyno results posted anywhere. The Dodge community believes that the computer is locked to keep warranty claims down and/or Dodge has dealer installed 'stage kits' planned for the 392- like they did with the SRT4. Only conjecture at this point on the stage kits.

Oops, dyno posted today over on Challenger forum. Seems hp/tq improvement depend a lot on ambient temperature during the dyno run and the reduction in tq management is more seat of the pants feel than actual tq improvement.

YEP, typical of a canned tune..................... Only way to actually gain quite a bit is a custom tune. At least with the Dodge stuff that is.........

When I modified my Camaro I regretted the decision after the initial thrill was gone. I wish I would have maximized the car's potential bone stock before tearing into it.

I also am following the pcm tuning over on the other forum and IMO it's not worth it yet. To give away your warranty to gain a tenth or two is just not worth it. Now if tuning would allow you to cam, sc, or tc then the benefit would be there for some. For now I plan to run my car as hard as possible stock. Maybe make a run at SRT8's times above
