Yesterday, East Tennessee Camaro Club hosted the Summer Shine Reunion Car Show for all five Camaro generations. Perfect weather and good turnout in Knoxville!

A few of us from the Music City Camaro Club made the trek from Nashville to Knoxville to join up with some of the East TN 5th Gen Club to support the show.

Dave (CamaroRS/SS10) won a new Camaro Convertible in the silent auction, but due to some powertrain issues wasn't able to drive it the 180-ish miles back to Nashville. The On-Star system was not active or was malfunctioning, and roadside assistance wasn't available, so we had to improvise in getting his new baby home.

Luckily, my convertible has tow capabilities and with a bit of improvisation his baby was on the way home!

After making it back to Dave's house, he made the mistakes of leaving his keys in his new ride, and jeffswhiteSS took advantage and grab it for a quick spin:

Thanks we were having a blast! People driving nest to us and taking pics and lauphing at us as we were driving back to Nashville.
