I'm gonna drop by my local chevy dealer tomorrow and ask about the differences and see if I can get some part #s.

I bought the plasmas, but I have Ofer's harness so at night both sets, my halo HID's and the DRL's stay on.

The plasma bulbs do look great!

I'm seriously so close to becoming a dealer for these lights. I've already lined up a wholesale seller and everything. Threads like these are what inspire me to hurry up and get to work on sourcing the bulbs!

My first set was a cheaper set. I paid $30 for them. They lasted 2 months and one blew and the other had about 10 LED's out when I pulled the bulb. It was going to go too.

So I ponied up for the $100 set. If they last a year or more, I've gotten my money's worth.

I don't mind paying more as long as it's worth it. A $30 set of bulbs that doesn't last 3 months just plain stinks. I'd say to folks to do the homework on whatever bulbs you plan to use to replace the stock ones and get feedback from as many folks as possible.

Now if you can get a quality set of bulbs for less, and guarantee them, I'm definitely listening.

On the connector of the bulb it will say either P13w or PSA26w. If you have a PSA26w, you will have to wait until someone makes a compatible led bulb.

It takes only a few minutes to change them out and is really easy, and no it doesn't void your warranty.
Gave a set of modded p13w to my parts guy to install on his late 45th car it worked out good but i had to mod the bulbs.

Blargh! Found out that I have the newer bulbs so I guess it will be waiting game for me. I'm just going to run with the halo's during the day instead of the DRL's for now. Maybe spend some of the bulb money on other mods *shifty eyes*

i Have a 2012 45th RS and just ordered the p13w driving lights from aac. my understanding from them is all 2012 rs's use the same p13w bulb with a slightly different, unmatched casing that they will easily modify for free when you order as long as you tell them the lights are going into a 2012. Im sorry if this has been stated already and I know to most of you its common knowledge, but I know how difficult it is to be a newb and not get straight answers to a question.

i have the 2012 and have the p13w in mine without modifications and they work just fine... i dont think i would have them modified makes them loose... in any event you can use small zip ties to keep them in place if you have to..

Any info on bulbs for a 2013? Can I order the AAC ones and have them modded to fit?
