My new trim
This is what I've been doing with a few of my days off from work. Personally I think its night and day verses the bland textured gray plastic that comes with the LS trims. It's all a textured white carbon fiber now and I even did behind the door handle as a subtle "thats awesome" kinda thing. So far everybody that sees it wants it.

When you're wrapping the parts make sure to use a heat gun (preferably) or a hair dryer to get the vinyl in the crevasses and corners. Take your time and do it right so it doesn't come back and bubble up on you. HEAT IS YOUR FRIEND. When I was done I left the pieces off and kept them in the passenger seat for a day so the sun could do its work and to check if I had any bubbles I couldn't see. One of the sides bubbled up and I just reheated it and stretched the vinyl back out to fix it. The other side was fine, but it was a good test and I avoided taking the door panels off and on for a second time. It maybe a little time consuming, but its worth it to do it right. The sanding was probably the longest part of the entire thing. |

I don't have textured panels so that saves me time from all the sanding But thanks for the info. I hope mine turns out as good as yours lol

I had done white leather in my door handle cup I get so many complements on it. It's surprising all the big expensive things you do and it's the cheap little things tht get noticed lol

I'm starting a little decal business so I got mine from a local vinyl supplier, but just go on ebay and order at least 24" x 36". That's if you can do it perfect, and I messed up the very first time so I had to reorder and at a larger size.
