LED lighting defective?

About a month ago I ordered a LED strip for the Firewall of my 2011 Camaro SS and also ordered 2 15inch strips for my grill made by AAC. After install everything worked perfectly, but recently I have noticed an issue. When I drove about 35 miles to a car show and opened the hood and turned the lights on, the grill lit up with no issues, but the LEDs on the firewall started blinking on and off and then about 3 or 4 sets of LED lights wouldn't come on. After the hood had been opened for a while and the engine bay cooled down, the firewall lights came back on like normal. I drove home and opened the hood and turned the lights back on and again they were blinking and some LEDs wouldn't turn on. I can't see how this could be normal. Any one else with similar issues?
