Might be a long and hot trip

Just took my car in to the dealer because the AC is only blowing hot air. They told me the compressor needs to be replaced and it will be 5 business days before they get the part, which would be Tueday. I sure hope they get the part before then otherwise I think the wife may kill me...

I hope you two get everything taken care of quickly.

My issue is minimal. Have brakes and rotors on their way, and GM dealer just received the replacement pdim for my ride. I am finally going to get the Bluetooth module replaced based on TSB. I have never been able to play my music from my phone through the Bluetooth module.

Jewel, is aSSian riding with you or will he have his ride? Just curious.

The part number you need should be 22798909.
I don't know what PDC your dealer is serviced by,or how the delivery schedule is for them, but both parts PDC's in your area (Martinsburg,WV and Charlotte,N.C.) show to have them in stock,it shouldn't take more than a day or two to get it in.
I know here if I order one day,and my local PDC (Martinsburg) has the part in stock,I have the part the next day.

The part that was ordered was part 92229739 and they told me 3 to 5 business days til it would arrive. I called 2 dealers and both gave me the same time table of 3 to 5 days. My local dealer that I took it to doesn't have a great track record for calling when the part comes in though. My wife took her Acadia there to get serviced and they had to order an oxygen sensor. They were supposed to call when it came in and that was 6 months ago.

OK,Thats the old part number, its been changed, and the new part number is 22798909.
Like I said..I don't know what PDC services your dealer,or how the delivery schedule is set up for them, but both PDC's in your area have the new part number in stock.
Now they do show the old part number available from the Pontiac,Mi. PDC,"IF" they ordered the old part number that would take 4-5 days to arrive, but hopefully they ordered the new number, and they get you fixed up in time

Awesome...

I talked with Judy today. She said the hotel has 5 rooms left for booking. One room has a jacuzzi, but does not qualify for group rate. The other 4 are handicap accessible.

Anyone looking for a room in Dayton should act quickly for a great rate!

Also, on the coolest caravan! We should have a great time. Waiting for one last detail and that is finalizing lunch. Ms3dale has been working hard to lock it down for us. Something about not having enough room in his back yard to feed us all. We had to look at other venues.

I can't thank MS3Dale enough. I called the dealer back with the newer part number and they said it should arrive tomorrow. It's people like this that make this site so great. Thanks again Dale.

Hope you have the car fixed in time.
If you need a diffuser maybe we can hook you up. I just happen to know someone that has an extra one.
