converting oem halogens to oem halos
I've seen that there are few people selling the OEM halo rings so I wanted to know if it's possible (and how difficult is it), to take the OEM halo rings and install them into the OEM halogen headlights? I know there's an extra harness I would need, but other than that I wanted to know if it was as simple as opening the halogens and putting the halos in? Any help or tips I can get would be great. Thanks.
Ben

They won't fit. The rs and non-rs headlights are different.

That figures. I thought I could buy halogen take-offs for a better price and try to do it myself. Oh well, I'll just keep my eye on some rs take offs. Thanks for the info!

If you were planning on retrofitting the halos, might as well retrofit AAC's halos.

I thought about that originally, but I might be the only one who likes the OEM halos instead of the individual LED lights on the AAC ones.

I know what you mean. If that's the case, then you should get some RS take-offs. I think JDP is coming out with RS headlights with their colorchanging halo system and it's going to be all plug-n-play.

Cool, I'll keep my eyes open for them. Takeoffs are a good alternative, it's just a matter of finding them as soon as they go up for sale since they go fast.

2SSRS sells refurbished RS headlights on his website. It's Gen5DIY.com he also sells the harness you'll need to make them work.
