I'm about to install my AVIC Z140BH with a friend and was wondering where is a good location to run the GPS receiver to that's accessible?

If you have the BA sound sytem and do not have the center speaker installed you use the empty space to mount the gps unit there. I have the same radio and that is where mine is located.

I don't have the BA sound system, so there is no center speaker port on the dash.

You could mount the GPS unit it the right hand corner and route the cable behind the glove box to the radio.

It looks like the radio uses a standard GPS connector. It looks like it is the same connection as the wire going to the OnStar Unit. You could try just using OEM gps connection.

I mount mine on the far left side of the wheel. I'm left handed so it works great for me being on the left side.

Sorry, I don't mean a portable GPS unit, I mean a GPS receiver used on the AVIC Z140.
