Question "HOW TO" install this www.gen5diy.com DRL Replacement Harness

Hey guy's! Like the title states, do any of you have the Installation Instructions on How To install this new gen5diy DRL Harness?

Also, do you really have to change the DRL bulbs to use this new harness or no? Thanks for any and all replies, as I would like to install this DRL Harness tonight if it does not interfere with my present DRL Bulbs!

Is this harness so you can run the DRLs at the same time as your headlights?

If yes, then remove the torx screws towards the front of the front tire wheel well. Pull open wheel well cover so you can see DRL housing. Disconnect plug from DRL, connect factory connector you just disconnected to the DRL harness. Connect other side of DRL harness to DRL. Put back wheel well cover and screws.

Do those instructions pertain to the Inner Fender Panel removal on the Driver or Passenger side to replace this harness? Also do you have to replace the DRL Bulbs for this to work without burning out the Bulbs? Thanks for your response as I would like to install this DRL Harness tonight?

you take out the 3 torx screws in each fender well.......and the harness will go on the pass side in between the fascia harness and the harness coming from the car....no you do not have to change the bulbs

From what you are stating I only have to take the 3 Torx Head Screws out of the Inner Fender Panel on the Right Passenger Side correct?

Then I unplug the DRL Harness and plug the new Pigtail into the DRL and plug the factory harness back into the other end of the New Pigtail, correct?

The Passenger Side is where the harness factory pigtail is located and just unplug it and replace it with the new one, correct?
Correct

If I remember correctly, the size of the torx screws is T20.

It really is about a 5 min job. It takes longer to get in the car, turn it on, turn the steering wheel to get to the screws and then when your finished turn the steering wheel back to it's original position then it does to actually do the job.

Okay guys, it took about 15 minutes for me to go out in the garage and install the New gen5diy Pigtail and it works are advertised. Now I can see why others did change the DRL Bulbs, as they look Milky and yellowish compared to the HID'S. Guess I will order the Bulbs tomorrow! Where and what new DRL Bulbs would you guys recommend I buy for me car to be close enough match for the Headlights? ...

Are the Plasma Bulbs better than the LED Bulbs? Also, I am looking at longevity as well in either or type Bulb?
Who should I buy them from?
