For the first year I wouldn't let anyone drive it except my dad. Since I have told my wife she could drive it, but she says it has to much power and doesn't want to drive it.

The Camaro is my car... I saved for it and make the payments. We each have our own car and don't really drive the other's. I think we have an unspoken respect for how much we care for our cars.
That said, I'm still shocked that hubby didn't take up my offer to drive Raven the day we brought her home. He has said getting to sit back and be a passenger in the Camaro is fun.

My wife bought my Camaro as a gift for being a good Husband and Dad. So I couldn't say no if she ever asked to. (what a poser I would be) Thank goodness she has no desire to ever drive it and I would be terrified if she ever did. She curbs her HHR all the time. Recently she hit a curb that was pretty high and it scraped her door lol. I will post some photos on the forum someday in a special thread of why my wife wont drive my Camaro. Haha
She scraped the cement collumn at the drive thru and dented her fender lol. She the total blind spots on the HHR and she sat in my Camaro and said they are worse. I have to get her back into an SUV that sits up high some day LOL. I kept my Xterra when I bought my Camaro which I never would allow her to drive before I got the Camaro. But now if her car is in the shop, the Xterra is what she would drive. She can ding the crap out of that now LOL. I have thick steel nerf bars on the front and sides so actually its pretty safe from her wrath. Haha. We are supposed to buy her a volt though in 2014 or 15. I will have to have her really test drive it to make sure no blind spots. Or heck I should just buy her a tank LOL !

In my case it would be me kicking my husbands ass to the curb. It's my car, I bought, and no one drives it but me. Period.

My guy and I drive each other's Camaros. He drives my RS more than I do his SS though. I generally refuse to ride along and I always insist on driving everywhere, but with him it's different; he puts me at ease so I don't mind letting him do most of the driving. Just don't trust anyone else!

Geez....
Are you guys dating / marrying women from the 18th century? The camaro is my wife's daily driver. I think she could out-drive half the men on C5. PS... women have been "liberated" for a long time, get over it!

Well, not currently married or with a GF - just means I can afford more cool stuff for my car, but I am trying to convince my little sister to learn to drive it. She's so scared of stalling it she refuses.

Since I bought it in July, my wife has driven it twice. I'm super anal retentive about it, and I hate that. She just has a history of hitting curbs, and if my RS wheels got messed up I would lose my mind. Money is really tight, so replacing one would be difficult for us financially. Also, she drives a Miata, so my car is about 3 times the size... I dunno, maybe I'll loosen up one day, but for now, I'm the one in the driver's seat.
