You can usually find a site that will tell you every possibility.

Because all the quote sites want way too much info, and I have been trying for 2 days, I will pay my parents for my own insurance and it's going to go on their insurance.

You can't have your own insurance as a 16 yr old, you must be part of your parents policy.

Most of us can only tell you what we pay but that won't help. You will pay more than us even if you are on your parents insurance.

It varies so much based on age, zip code, exact model of car, driving record, liability limits, etc. Not to mention various discounts for students, professionals, garage parking, etc. It could be $50/mo or it could be $500/mo. Your best bet is to have your parents call the insurance company and find out.

If your on with your parents and they have a clean record along with good credit and you have a good record, it shouldn't be that bad. I had a trans am when I was sixteen. It was listed under my dad and I was listed under his truck.
Just a foot note: I also crashed it three months later and dads insurance went through the roof. It didn't drop for me until I was 25. Moral of story, don't crash it if you get one. |

Or you could get a POS car like a majority of 16 year olds do, like a Honda or something. Then save up for a camaro to pay for it in cash.
