You get what you pay for. Are you willing to have "good enough" when it comes to stopping a 2 ton machine?

Are your brake pads worn out already?

The pads I put in my Olds last year cost about $30, and they work just fine. If you are looking for something a little better, I'm sure you can find something better than the ACDelco pads for less than $168. That sounds like a rip-off to me.

Are those prices per wheel, per axle,....?

You would even consider putting $38 brake pads on a 400 horsepower sports car?

38.00 brakes on a rocket? They are too hard and can risk doing damage to your rotors. Things have to match in order to work together. As said previously, you get what you paid for. 120-150 is a good range for pads, per axle.
