At least it didn't light up in their garage, or something. This looks like a best-case scenario to me.

That lady was out of line. I realize that she was under duress, but the damage was done before they even started. Gotta be tough helping people with that attitude.

Yeah, they need some more training on those doors. Good thing there wasn't someone trapped in there.

When I first saw the video, I thought she was just randomly yelling at people to get a bucket of WATER!

Sad. But can be rebuilt. Hell, with the 69 all you need is the VIN plate. You can buy everything aftermarket. Even a convertible body shell. If you don't have a VIN plate, you can still build a 69 convertible as a kit car, but it has to meet current emissions requirements.

Ever think the 12 volt system IN THE TRAILER? Most high dollar trailers like this one have it. Having had a 36' fifth wheel, my was tied into a Moroso ON/OFF switch, just like the racecars use.

Unless you have been there and done it, you will think those that are doing it are incompetent idiots, been there, seen it. But then again, if you have been there and done it, watching someone else do it, you will think that too, been there, done it.

I was adjusting the float on the '68 in my sig about 8 years ago...took too long on the stubborn Holley carb.

Had a towell wrapped around the carb, got soaked and dripped on the header.

POOF! She went up in flames. I was able to put it out thanks to a neighbor with a fire extinguisher. Stopped it right before it crossed the firewall.

I almost cried when the firefighter shoved a garden hose down the carb and turned it on. Could've been much worse. I lucked out...

I now keep a fire extinguisher in the car at all times.

They did ok cause the fire didn't really progress any worse than it was when they showed up.

AMEN, agree 100%!

The thing is the car is probably savable. Could have been much worse.
