GFX kit
today i bought an unopened GFX kit for 500$ locally. i couldnt miss out on this offer.
However, i dont get how the rear diffuser goes on the bumper if the stock one is alot smaller than the gfx one. and can i install this myself? or is there drilling cutting required? Last edited by supasport; 10-27-2012 at 10:14 AM. |

It is impossible to know with out pics or information on what brand the kit is. Maybe go to a local body shop and see what they tell you.

Shouldn't be any cutting involved as long as the body kit is trimmed and no rough edges etc. I did a little drilling on the rear bumper lip so the factory rear diffuser braces would brace up the new rear bumper lip. I put mine on. I put it on 2 times. It's not all that hard but if you feel unsure let a body shop do it. My best suggestion is to use genuine 3M double sided tape. I say this because the GFX kit i got (not GM) tape didn't hold very well. The second time i stripped off the old tape and put on the 3M brand and it works great. Use the wider tape for the rear bumper lip. Any parts store should sell the 3M tape. Good luck |

Thanks for your reply's! on the instruction manual it does say to have a exhaust cutter and also mentions to drill holes on the front lip. |
