Look at the hose on the very left of the photo. Right where it meets that mounting bracket, there's a hole in the taped area. Sort of easy to overlook because that entire thing is covered in tape, but it's pretty obvious once you see it for the first time, I guess.

Mine has no opening there, You can tape it up. It wont hurt a thing.

I'll admit....I kinda thought the same thing too when I saw this thread.
However, at least AdamEL is observant and wants to learn more about the car. There are many car owners out there (including some Camaro owners) who've never opened their hood before. Crazy!
