Alternate tires for dry winter days in NY
Looking for a suggestion to change my tires for dry crisp winter day driving in NY. Very concerned about driving these tires on days 40 degrees and below. Not looking for winter snow tires but something high performance but still ok in low temps.

Pirelli Scorpions IMO - best invest for my car yet.
Edit: why do you not want snow tires? I mean if you're dead set on not getting snow tires then the only other option would be "all season" tires, which aren't the best in the snow - especially if you want them to be performance all season's |

Have 2 other cars to drive. This car will never see rain or snow. Just want a good performance tire that fits right and will handle the car in the winter temps. No snow or rain

Just take it easy for a few miles they normally warm up within 5-7 miles for me.

If you don't drive like a dope you'll be fine. I just put 100 miles on mine today, 30 degrees out, salty roads, 700+ rwhp, no problems. I have the stock tires on with 16k miles.

I ran stock tires with my set up last winter 499/556 rwhp had to be careful but supercharged ss is right you will be ok with stockers I'd save the money ,
Or use it for speed stuff People who use the car through the winter usually use and are happy with blizzaks Check out our local club ny5thgen.com we would love to see that vert , |
