What I'm glad for is I don't have to listen to all the whining people would do had Ford got a Mustang in the movie and got kids excited about owning a real Mustang one day, and/or if they built a "Turbo" edition Camaro and didn't paint it exactly the same color as the movie-car.

I'm not a big fan of the styling myself, but you need to look at the target audience. That's why Camaro comes in different flavors. Enjoy it if you like it. Don't buy it if you don't. Pretty simple. Camaro-hate should be redirected at Mustangs.

I think the Original Post should be renamed "700 HP car". It's a little misleading considering this thread is the main page of C5.com right now.

The GM sticker even says 700HP so I don't understand how someone (the quoted guy, not Falundir the member) made an entire article on how misleading Hollywood is when in reality it probably is a modified ZL1....

For what it's worth the Mustang RTR as stupid looking as this Camaro is, and it's way less over the top...
