My 19x11 Forgeline square setup avec 315 Hoosiers
Weather has FINALLY improved enough for me to test out my Forgeline 19x11 GA3R shod with 315/30R19 Hoosier R6 slicks. Got these from Dave @ Forgeline direct . We went back and forth a bit before settling on the final front offset. I had as hard a time with the colour scheme, but everything has worked out perfectly.
Extremely pleased to report: "No fitment issues!!" Even going full crank backing out of and driving into my slightly elevated driveway (back lane) it did not rub turning left or right. The fronts protrude less than 1/2" beyond the top of the fender (see last 2 pics). Lightly tossing it around reveals how well the Gen5 responds to a square setup. There is a whole lot of bite upfront now (even compared to my 285 R888s). Couldn't drive it hard cause it was night and currently 7°C (44.6°F) and the tires are like hockey pucks, eh? Here are pics. Sorry, but ran out of light. Hope to get some day pics tomorrow.

Looks different for sure. I feel like yellow lip and black spokes might have looked better but thats just my opinion

This is strictly for auto-cross use. The Hoosier tires are not street legal (even though they are DOT approved). I wanted to stuff the biggest tire I could up front for maximum grip and get rid of that pervasive oversteer that plagues our cars.

Those will be fun. Did you check suspension travel to see if it would touch the front fender when compressed? Also you'll want to put a gravel guard or Zl1 style canard to protect the sides of your car, those will throw up tons of gravel onto the side of your car.

Enjoy. I have a 19x10 square setup running 285/35 on all four and the cornering and steering precision is amazing.

You're right about the rock guards. With our soft paint job, I cringe when I think of the possible damage. I'm going to make a set myself. Extra wide and run them only when I have these tires on. These Hoosiers are like drag slicks after a burnout. They're super sticky and will pick up every grain of sand they run over.

Exactly. Besides, lower will make it possible to rub the top of the tire on the fender.

I'll try. Had a busy day today helping my sister move, so didn't get a chance to take it out in the day time.

Yes, I've got Pfadt's gen1 coilovers with the shorter Eibach springs that you can get from them. The shorter springs are necessary to move the collars up and out of the way of the tire.
