I just have to defend all the current Camaro owners who genuinely dislike this redesign, me included, from the sporadic shots we have taken from those who call us "haters." Perhaps we may be a bit biased towards our cars, but I can honestly say I'm not jealous of this refresh even though I just got my 2013 3 months ago. This really is a wretched design and whoever thinks otherwise, let me know - I know a some great ophthalmologists! Whose with me?!

I've owned a 1982 Camaro V6 4M.

It took GM 31 years before I ever bought another Camaro - 2013 V8 1SS 6A.

31 ..... years.

I won't live long enough to wait for the next decent design to come out.

I am with you...From what I've seen, I would take what I have for sure. Unless there are some unseen hp or power-train up-grades included, at this point I wouldn't consider trading in....They are all 5thGens, and there is more to the car than a grille and some tail-lights....

I'm on the fence about it.... My biggest complaint from what i've seen so far is the chrome or aluminum trim over the grill, the rest will be growing pains until they hit the lot. It's easy to discredit based on the short amount of video and the few pictures that have surfaced.... but once we see other colors it may change alot of peoples minds.

Remember..... It was US that got this awesome car back to the road.... and it's US that can drive it in the ground. I say give it a while and let's see what GM says.

I'm still not convinced they don't have something else up their sleeve for tomorrow....

Enthusiasts like us buy NEW cars. We may even trade "up" in model years to get features or something we like in the new model, but I haven't seen anything so far that would make me consider going into my dealership tomorrow and placing an order for a 2014. It just is ... not ... refreshing .... enough.
I could have bought a used Camaro in my area and GM wouldn't have gotten a dime. Maybe I will do that in 2015.

If this were a 10-13 Camaro someone here had modded to look like that, it would be getting rave reviews!....lol

I think the changes with bring in new buyers who might not have liked the current design, plus if only 1/4 of current owners like the new design and trade up that's more sales. They most likely figured many of us current owners would be waiting for the 2016 anyway. Now they will have 2 different groups of owners waiting for 2016 when it comes out. If they screw up the 2016 look, they will be in big trouble. i do like my 2010 better, but if i didn't have a Camaro now, I think I would be looking at this one to buy.

I like the front end but the killer is the rear. HATE those tail lights!! Glad I got my 2013 and not sorry I didn't wait for the 2014.

Then this god aweful thing shows up today. I have been waiting for a Z/28 since '06 and there is no way in hell I would get rid of my car now no matter what badge they throw on it or what they put under the hood.
A few things which folks are not taking into consideration:

Since the rally striping will no longer work with the new SS hood then we don't know if other striping packages will be offered.

We don't know if the hood is for all models (I'd be surprised if the hood is the same for the ZL1);

We don't know if there will be more than one tail lamp treatment;

We don't know what the front looks like without the RS lamps;

We don't know what the new ZL1 front will look like;

New colors?

This stuff will all have an impact on people's taste. Hopefully we will get some answers tomorrow.

IMHO, they would have better spent the money on redoing the interior materials in higher quality goods and left the exterior styling alone....don't fix what ain't broke.

My opinion is this:

WHY ON EARTH did GM unveil the car on this show?? why why why???

The guy talking about the cars only has about 20 seconds to spout off as much crap as he possibly could about each car, to an audience that couldn't give a rats behind about cars.

I'm trying to reserve some judgement until I see the official reveal and press photos tomorrow, but so far its not really doing it for me, and I think part to blame is because of the pictures coming from it being on this TV show with bad camera angles and lighting, blurry photos and what not.

They should have done another reveal of the Corvette here if they felt that inclined. Not this car.
Couldn't agree more. Why the hell I'm viewing the new heavily scrutinized 2014 camaro on the Kelly and Michael show is beyond me. Now I have a headache looking at these poorly angled blurry ass photos.
