Order Changes
Typically how long into the order process can the dealer still make changes to the car order?
I ordered a Camaro yesterday and got the sunroof option without realizing that it took away so much headroom. I test drove one with no sunroof and it was perfect but I didn't look to see how much head room I had. I was thinking about calling the dealer and asking them to remove the sunroof option to play it safe. After that I could look around locally and try to find one with a sunroof to test it out. If I test it and it is no problem then I could ask the dealer to add the option back. What do you guys think I should do? |

Before it gets preferenced (2500) its definitely not a problem. If you make any changes, have the dealer do a printout of the workbench page to make sure no other options came off. There have been cases of the RS option package being deleted when a change was made. Good luck.

My dealer told me that I was his July 16th allocation and that I could make changes until the 17th.
