Do you guys recommend the use of FAST LSX R intake manifold?
So I'm almost ready to install a Turbonetics kit in my 1LE.... Ofcourse more horsepower is always great ... And more if is CA legal ..... So i found that the LSX R 102 intake manifold fits tye LS3 and is CA legal and can be used with the big mouth FAST throtle body 102.... But is expensive like over $900.00 but only like 14 hp to the fly wheel.... Well that on a stock vehicle.....
Anyone has any experiences with this intake manifold ? Is it worth it ? Will it work better with tye turbonetics kit ? |

You are better to spend your money elsewhere for that setup. A FI car isn't really picky about what is after the compressor (turbo/supercharger) We did a 1000 rwhp TA and the owner was concerned about popping the fast intake. This was a problem a while back with the Fast 90's. Anyway we swapped it to a LS6 intake and only lost something like 20 rwhp.. on a 1000 rwhp car! LOL. That same car has 3 inch charge piping... Like I said before anything after the compressor isn't so touchy.
Make the inlet to the turbo and the downpipe the best you can. That is where power will be at on that setup! |

That is a really tough question because your trying to stay legal.. A cam would definitely help but you'll worry about emissions. A simple LS9 cam should pass a sniffer but do not know if that is legal or not.

We can also get them for you. Please let me know if your interested. There are better options out there but if your stressed to stay legal that may be your only choice. Check your local laws if your trying to stay legal.
