Resonators and cats

Hey guys, recently dipped into my savings to Get some stuff done to my car.

Can anyone give me detailed info of where i can get some 2.25 in/out High Flow cats and resonators cheaply?

I need 2 of each correct?

Four cats, two resonators.

You're probably not going to get the cats for cheap. Magnaflow makes some good ones for about 100 each.

As for the resonators, your best bet (at least in my opinion) is to go with some short cherry bomb glasspacks. These specifically - http://www.jegs.com/i/Cherry-Bomb/545/87521/10002/-1.

Paint them black or aluminum colored if you don't like the red. Personally I don't mind it because its so far under the car that you probably won't ever see it anyway.

Thanks, 2 more things, 1. Will the cherry bombs alone make a difference in the sound?? And 2. I live in Cali so magna won't ship them here

Living in california, you'd probably be better off not touching the cats at all. Magnaflow makes OEM spec high-flow cats, but, as I said before, I don't know if they will have any out for the V6 in the near future.

The cherry bombs will resonate less than your stock resonators - meaning the net sound will be louder, and may have a bit of the pop and sputter that glasspacks are known for. It may also make the sound a slightly higher pitch, though that is unlikely and the difference would likely be negligible. You only notice a pitch change when you remove the resonators completely.

Also, it will affect the sound more at idle and decel than at WOT (volume, pitch, etc).

Test pipes would be far from legal in california.
