The construction and fit on the Apex scoop is outstanding! The one piece design seems like a no brainer. And I can definitely feel the car pulling harder on acceleration. It seems to have made a big difference combined with the CAI Intake setup. Also, I DID NOT have to cut the washer pump stalk. On my setup the stalk resides on the outside of the tank from where the pump clips in. Anyway another |

I installed this kit and it is everything advertised. Nice quality and fairly straightforward install. Having the stock washer bottle inside your CAI is counter productive
For full disclosure purposes, I later had to murder the scoop when I installed a ZL-1 front end. The scoop became essentially a mounting bracket for the bottle...but all does work/fit still

I was told from two sponsors to put money elsewhere, (yet it Cant hurt !)

I get a little more pickup at freeway speeds, thats where it helps, and maybe around town just to help the cooler air get to the filter easier I would think.

It's a cheap enough mod that can't hurt so worth a try. I'm doing the scoop, washer relocation and Vmax next. That should take care of the front end before I get my headers and tune.

I love the Rotofab washer bottle. It sits in the perfect position right outside my CAI intake. Not sure if the race scoop really does much or is just a marketing gimmick, but it's kind of neat to feel like it helps increase cold air flow anyway. :P

Vmax is next on my list. And that will about do it until I can grab a cam.
