At first glance, the front fascia looks MEAN but could do without the chrome strip. But the rims do not belong and neither does the rear fascia, IMO.
My mind is already moving on to the 6th Gen. |

Everyone is already aware of the tail light controversy (like them or hate them). For me, I hate these wheels. A carry over from the 2013's and I still think they're hideous. Get a new design!

Do we know if the '14s are getting the next gem MyLink or the 2013 version?

Aint no color going to help those bland tail lamps and the opening under the grill looks to plasticy. The tiny fog lamps are another bad design. I guaranty you sales will be down for that model year. The next body design better be good after this F up.

My thoughts exactly.....
I even like it better than the ZL1 in look AND I DEFINITELY LIKE IT BETTER THAN THAT CONCEPT MESS THEY SHOWED FOR TRANSFORMERS...... I have to figure my next move..... Maybe keep my current and add the Z/28....

I knew it would look good in black. It hides the ocean of hideous black plastic on the rear end. They also need to loose the Walmart stick on chrome strip under the front edge.

Any word on the engines yet? Still different V8 models depending on transmission selection? The exterior changes are pretty obvious and have been THE topic of debate but I'm really more interested in what kind of new options/configurations may be available, and more importantly if any of them can be ported back to the 2010-2013 models with some simple part swaps? The new exhaust tips (on the standard exhaust, not the quad) look pretty awesome for example and may be a good option for people doing muffler deletes who don't want to chop their existing tips off. I am really curious as well to see if the 5th gen will ever get the new LT1? With fleet mpg averages being so important to mfr's these days it may justify the extra cost, but I don't understand all of the economics involved in making this move... Anyone got any good gouge beyond the taillights being pretty bland???
