ok there are a bunch of different ELM327 which one is the better one?

I bought the BAFX ELM327 from Amazon. I can't attest as to whether it's better than the others, but it does work in my car. I have seen others post that there are some smaller versions with on/off switches.

Wonder how accurate the boost is for FI setups?

I can't remember if that parameter lights up or not. I want to say it doesn't, but I'm not sure about that. I think that parameter may only be for factory turbo engines.

It reads manifold vacuum and also goes into the plus side too

Oh... yeah, the MAP readings should be pretty accurate. I can't say that I have analyzed them much. The readout for MAP definitely APPEARS to be accurate.
