catch can hose Help

Hello all.
I have a quick question.
I'm in the process of installing an elite catch can and i'm having a hard time getting the new hose over the old line its super tight. is it ok to put a little oil or soap around the tubing to help it slide on easier?

Thanks

Dab of motor oil should be fine. Don't use soap!

I just held the clamp open with pliers while pushing it on there and once it set I let go of the clamp and voila. I did notice it was hard to do when the angle was a little off.

You should be done in about 15 minutes give or take if you have the tools ready

I just took my pinky and licked it and got the inside of the hose a little wet. Sipped right on with a little push or two.

Thanks everybody I used a little dab of oil. worked great.
Fighting with the hose was the only part that gave me trouble. It was not going on very far without the oil.
Other than that super easy.
