Drove a spirited 600 miles the last weekend around WA state; over mountain passes and 80-85 on the freeway sections, averaged 25.4 mpg. Drove like a gramma the previous 1000 miles, got 23.4 mpg average. Moral to story: drive it like you stole it for best gas mileage.
I'm mostly hwy, very little city driving. |

I'm amazed at how little difference there is with a V8, when I went all highway I was doing 25.5mpg and my 50-50 avg is about 19mpg.

22.8 was my average in my 1Lt, over a year of driving.
I'm getting 14-17 in the SS. I made myself drive soft one day and got 20.

The V8 is a big differance in mpg. It also uses 91 octane or better. According to AMEX, my fuel bill has gone up 30%

Summertime average about 28.5 MPG and last winter low 20's. I have had a few tanks into the 29 MPG range with the best to date at 29.5 MPG. 1LT w/auto trans. Mostly highway probably over 90% with less then 10% city and a considerable amount of spirited driving. I love the amount of fun I can have with the go pedal and still get over 28 MPG.

I get around 18-21 in the city only. No highway driving.
On the highway, recently I did 450 mile trip, going 62 mph I got about 34 miles to the gallon This was also done on 91 octane.

Avg 22-23. I live 4 miles from the nearest anything, so a bunch of short hops. Lowest was 18 with 85 octane(in Colorado), moved to 91 octane and am now getting 22-23. Higher octane is better in my opinion

I am one of those spirited drivers and just can't seem to keep my foot of the pedal. I am getting about 21-23 avg with each tank and I have both city/hwy driving. I am guessing it will get a little better once I get more miles on the car since its still fairly new.

I've got a 2011 2LT Convertible, stock. Only 4,200 miles on her. Avg. MPG = 17.5 (actual,
calculated. NOT DIC). Check out all of my fill-up history here: http://mpgtune.com/dashboard.php?carId=5547 Don't worry. Be happy.
