Since when was that a bad thing?
Thank you much. It's amazing how picky you get with mods when everything I put on/take off of the car gets weighed. have any ideas? |

OK and maybe a VMax ported throttle body and then mabye a no-tune pulley from JRE depending how I'm doing weight wise. But nothing besides that |

Since I ordered my Apex catch can I've been trying to think of where I can take off whatever weight it adds.
Then on the way home today it hit me - center speaker. Instead of just unplugging it I'm just going to remove it. Can't believe it took me this long to figure this out. |

Had the day off so thought I'd do some detailing. I have to admit - the refresh isn't as easy to detail as the original 5th gen. There are so many crevices, nooks, seams, hiding places on the refresh...
Because the refreshed tail lights don't have a bezel, you have to get a towel up in them to get all of the dirt/dust out. Also realized that tinting them will be nearly impossible as they aren't smooth. Rear diffuser - pre crevice cleaning Post crevice cleaning |

EDIT: make sure you tie wrap the connector... it will slap around and make all sorts of noise if you don't |

Also - I found another way to save weight Remove my airbag warning labels. Apparently they aren't stuck on well enough. This bulletin is why they have to stop selling 2014 camaros by the way: Bulletin Number is 13284 - "Air Bag Warning Label - Loss of Adhesion" |

I don't think I've ever wanted to burn rubber and dance with the redline more than I do right now. |

Had an idea for weight savings....Why not remove all the "spare tire/flat fix" stuff from the trunk completely....I mean, do we really need it?....I'd be calling AAA anyway for a flat....messing with it yourself on the side of the road is dangerous. and what are the odds of getting a flat really?....Just a thought...

Got my Apex Catch can installed
Ignore the fact that the bracket is backwards in that last pic. Took the photo and then realized what I did. Lol |
