Brake fluid question?

I'm in the middle of building the bottom of my car for the road course. I've ordered baer drilled and slotted rotors. Also phantom SS brake Lines. Next is the hawk hp brand pads. I was reading about people changing their brake fluid. I read a lot of reviews and settled on castrol srf or motul 600. My question now is that obviously I'm not on the track everyday. So can I run these high temp brake fluids for just some DD driving or should I change it for racing/DD

You are ok running the dot 4 high temp fluid on the street. No Issues. The reason you upgrade is to increase your boiling point to prevent brake fade. I would flush your entire hydraulic system every 1.5 to 2 years as brake fluid is hydroscopic and as it breaks down from moisture absorption the boiling point drops reducing its effectiveness. We have been using Afco Racing HTX fluid with great results.

Correct, you will have no negative impact to daily driving. Check this thread for all the good fluid information:

Yep you can run DOT4 fluid daily with no issues. Feel free to call, PM or email me anytime with questions.
