Why are you messing around with such tall gears? These cars have double overdrive, go 3.91 or higher

The v6 can get 3.55. Direct swap out. But its still an open diff. Upgrade to an SS rear end and get the lsd. You can go. 3.45. 3.73. 3.91. but you should get rid of the 2.92

There must be someone out there with an SS that wants a 1LE rear cradle complete rear end that is looking to sell their 3.45 rear cradle.

Yeah. I'm sure if you make a WTB post in the marketplace that you'll find something.

If i had the money i'd upgrade to the SS Rear End altogether but alas i don't. Just looking for something that'll open up the torque in my power band because the 2.9's are garbage for it.

HP i was told by a few people the 2LS LLT's don't fit right with the 3.55's from Richmond. Maybe they solved that problem between '10 and '11 i'll hafta check that out, either way i think the 3.4 will liven it up a bit over what i have now.

anything will liven up the car from 2.92. You can price everything you for an SS swap on ebay for around $1200. It's harder to find the 3.45 differential though. I've also seen the 3.27 v6 differential posted as a v8's. It's not that difficult to do at home.

See thats what i was thinking just upgrade to the 3.27's that alone from what i've heard is like night and day with torque for those that've switched from the 2.92's. Mostly looking for a nice cheap upgrade and as far as i can tell that'll be my best upgrade short of getting more bolt-ons and i can have the dealership do it to stay under warranty. Not that i couldn't get my uncle or someone to help me in the garage.

a torque converter with a bigger stall is also an option. a little more more though. But an LSD rear end will let you do those 2 wheel burnouts that you dream about.

stop gettin in my dreams freddie!!! i know the LSD will give me that 2 wheel burnout that i dream of right now it's a one wheel burnout i can almost get 2 when i disable TC and Stabilitrak. I'll settle for squeeling the tires out of the merrimack outlet lot for another year.

Hows the twins doing they still screaming up and down the road or did you put it away for the winter yet?

Congrats on the new SS Paul!!

Swapping the diff and gears for the 2LS to an SS diff will also require axels, etc. I believe.

The turbos are still doing good. I have a weird bug in there now. I'm going to slowhawk next week to have it figured out

With the swap you need the diff, half shafts, hubs, and the back half of a SS drive shaft.
