R888's help tremendously, but if you participate in any Pro Touring autox event or Good Guys, you have to run 200TW tires.

Walk the course, get there early. Walk it again. Never try to set your fastest lap on the first run. Seat time is the most important for new drivers.
At some point it'll 'click' for you. At that point you start using techniques like imagining a string tied to the bottom of the steering wheel and the big toe of your right foot. As you give it gas, you straighten the wheel. As you ease up on the gas you can turn more. Even the experienced pros will go out and walk the course multiple times.

Gman, is that the PittRace in Wampum? I don't live to far from there and when I do autocross it will probably be there.

I've been thinking I may try to autocross my car just because I think it would be fun! I think it would be cool to have fun and push myself and my car.

I'd like to thank the users on this forum who help give tips on autocross they seem like they will come in handy
