picked her up on Saturday 260 miles down so far... IOM 2SS/RS with CGM stripes and IO interior

my dad and i are both very happy and hes actually kinda jelous because he likes my car more than his corvette!

Sorry I hate to be a skeptic, but how many 15 year olds use a word like Elaborating. Even my 25 year old doesn't talk like that .....

I frequently made use of significantly more complex vocabulary than "elaborate" when I was 15. Then again, some of us are just naturally more intelligent than others... Well I guess it's to late to go into the whole 400hp car at 16 thing...and no it's not about your age, it's about experience in traffic. It truly takes a few years until you can be considered moderately safer after having been trough several different conditions and situations.

There I went anyways. Oh well.

Nice car, manual I hope?

A friend of mine has a 2007 Vette Z51 he just got his IOM with white stripes
and said he likes the Camaro better and that it handles just about the same as the Vette

I was 15 when I got my first mustang....Of course, I drove like an idiot. Burnouts, and tons of drifting. Drove that thing into the woods, raced a guy in his craptastic new supercharged pontiac grand prix BACKWARDS....Somehow managed to bottom out on the thing and lost AC in the middle of the summer....

If I was obama EVERYONE would get a nice sports car we all deserve one. Thats my stimulus plan.

Honestly, Sounds like your dad can't afford the car. If that's the case, why are you being selfish by stressing him out over the car?

Tell him "dad, I know I wanted this car, but what I like better is a C4/C5 Vette, or a 4th Gen Fbody". Both of those will run you 5-16k right now.
